Who we are
Player Zero is developed by Built By Board Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15604498. Our registered office is 49 Somerville Drive, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, LU7 3RY. Contact us at hello@builtbyboard.com.
These terms describe the Player Zero software, this website and the licences we offer. Please read the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy alongside them. Save or print a copy for your records.
What you are buying
Player Zero is media-player software for sources you are authorised to use. A purchase unlocks the player features described on the Pricing and Desktop Downloads pages. It does not purchase a television subscription, premium-channel access, a movie or series catalogue, or provider credentials. Images illustrate the software using demo content; they are not a promise that the content shown is included.
This website describes Player Zero for Windows and macOS. Availability and features can differ between those platforms, distribution channels, computers and versions. Check compatibility before purchasing.
Licence scope
A desktop licence covers one computer, running Windows or macOS. The desktop packs contain three or five desktop licences, with one licence per covered computer.
Licences are for use within the purchased device limits. You may manage eligible device assignments using the facilities provided with your edition or by contacting support. A licence is not permission to resell the software, share account credentials publicly or redistribute licence keys.
One-time purchases and lifetime licences
The listed licences are one-time purchases with no recurring licence charge. A lifetime licence has no scheduled expiry for its purchased PRO entitlement. It does not guarantee the continued availability of a third-party provider, an external integration or a separately operated online service. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Price, seller and delivery
Listed prices are in US dollars. Any currency conversion, applicable taxes and final total must be shown before you authorise payment. App-store prices can differ. No order is placed by browsing a pricing page.
The seller and payment provider will be identified at checkout and on your receipt. For purchases sold by Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorised reseller and merchant of record, and the Paddle Buyer Terms also govern that transaction. This website does not currently accept payments.
A completed purchase is delivered electronically through the licence or activation process shown at checkout or in the app. Use an email address you can access and keep your receipt. Contact support if payment succeeds but activation does not.
Authorised content and appropriate use
Only import, stream, record or download material you have permission to access and use. You are responsible for complying with copyright law, your provider's terms and any restrictions applying to the content. Do not use Player Zero to gain unauthorised access or distribute infringing material. We do not sell or recommend unauthorised subscriptions or supply provider credentials.
Support for M3U/M3U8, Xtream Codes and Stalker/MAC Portal does not guarantee every provider or source will work. Guide completeness, stream availability, recording and downloads depend on the source, its permissions, connection limits, device resources and network. Scheduled desktop recording requires the app to remain running.
Support, refunds and consumer rights
We provide support for the Player Zero software at hello@builtbyboard.com. Your content provider is responsible for its own service and subscriptions. Please send sanitised diagnostics only.
Our direct-purchase refund promise is described in the Refund Policy. App-store purchases follow the relevant store procedure. Nothing in these terms excludes rights relating to software that is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet mandatory legal standards.
Responsibility and changes
We are responsible for supplying the software in accordance with applicable law and the description at purchase. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer remedy.
We may update this website and these terms. Material changes will be identified with an updated date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections and court rights available to consumers in their country of residence.
